About the event
Professionalizing the field of ECE will require a conscious decision which can result in a shared vision. Hear me share my vision and I hope those interested will join me. While teachers can take steps to get certificates, training and additional degrees (for example a master’s) this only serves to increase marketability and occupational skills — it does not make them “Professional.” The current state of ECE requires greater teacher sophistication. The data and metrics I have prove that there is a direct link between learner achievement and the Professional educator. Simply the more qualified / professional the teacher the greater achievement we see. However, the movement to professionalize the field will require participation from ECE Educators and I am asking that you join me in this journey. Together we can make a difference.
